What the readers our saying about

Image7.gif (79807 bytes)Brash Endeavor.

January 4, 1999 -  Mr. Manchee knows how to keep you on the edge of your seat. Brash Endeavor is the continuing story of Stan Turner’s life as a lawyer in Dallas, Texas. In both books, Stan Turner seems to attract trouble, and many times, unusually good fortune. Mr. Manchee has a way of making you seem like you’re there in the story . . . and I’m already trying to find out if there is another Stan Turner Mystery in the book stores. Mr. Manchee has my loyalty as a reader and I hope he continues to write more of the Stan Turner mystery books.  Linda A. Taylor

December 26, 1998 -Thanks for coming to our store to sign your great books. We sold twelve that day and we'd love to have you back anytime. Nancy Cruz, Hastings Entertainment, Denton.

November 9, 1998 - I met you Friday night at Hastings in Longview and I bought one of your books (Brash Endeavor). I read it and thought it was great! Good job! I will be buying your other books. Tom Cotton, Longview, Texas

October 9, 1998 - I really enjoyed meeting you and look forward to reading more of your books. "Brash Endeavor" was fabulous-a real page turner-I didn't want it to end! . . . Allison Robson, KLBK TV, Channel 13, Lubbock, Texas

October 9, 1998 9:11 a.m - Ren Zilla - I don't think you remember me. We met last night at Barnes & Noble while you were promoting your book (Brash Endeavor). My name is Orendat. . . . Anyway, I started reading your book last night, and am already half way through it. It's wonderful! I can really relate with many of the characters. I too am from Montreal, and just moved here 2 years ago. How ironic? Anyhow, I just thought that you might be interested in my review of the book. This is the first time I have read one of your books, and will probably pick up the others if they're as good. I noticed that your cover says it's a "Stan Turner Mystery" . . . does that mean you'll be continuing in future novels with this character?  I hope all is well, and will be looking forward to reading more of your work.

August 18, 1998 - My name is Charles Harding, we met at Hastings in Norman, Oklahoma. I have started reading your book,(Brash Endeavor) and I'm very impressed! Realistic, inviting, and very clear thought. ...

August 7, 1998 - I enjoyed Brash Endeavor.  When you referred to various streets and buildings I knew just where you were talking about and that made it even better!  I look forward to reading your other books.  Thanks for the autograph at Hastings.

November 26, 1997 - Miogene Alexander - I would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU for choosing Hastings to help promote your books, "Twice Tempted" and "Undaunted". . . .The feedback that I have received from all of the locations has been GREAT!! Also, the comments that are coming in from the people that have read your books are fantastic . . . they love them!! . . .

Please send mail. We want to hear from you. Thanks!
